This month’s member spotlight is Tim Overstreet, CPA, a tax  accountant with RubinBrown, one of the Midwest’s largest accounting and business consulting firms. Overstreet has four years experience in public accounting and provides federal income tax compliance services, project-based income tax research services, income tax provision services related to financial statement audits, and income tax consulting services for the firm.   

Overstreet also works with clients in the Real Estate Services Group, providing compliance services related to Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits and New Markets Tax Credits. In addition, he services clients in the manufacturing and distribution and construction industries.  

Overstreet is a regular participant in firm-wide events and community service activities at RubinBrown, which employs more than 340 team members working from offices in St. Louis and Kansas City. Founded in 1952, the firm’s award-winning team members hold leadership roles in both national and local accounting organizations and have worked to establish best practices in accounting within specific industry segments. RubinBrown is an independent member of Baker Tilly International, a network of 145 independent firms in 110 countries.  

Outside of the firm, Overstreet is a member of the United Way’s young professionals arm, GenNext, which provides meaningful volunteer and networking opportunities for individuals in their 20s and 30s.
